Refund Policy
At Moja Rentals, we are committed to providing high-quality dresses and a seamless rental experience. However, we understand that there may be occasions when a rental does not meet your expectations. Below is our Refund Policy for situations where the dress does not meet the agreed standards. Please carefully read the policy and ensure you understand the terms of any potential refunds.
1. Eligibility for Partial Refund
We offer a partial refund of 30% of the hire price under the following circumstances:- Quality or Condition Issues: If the dress you receive is not in the condition promised or fails to meet the quality standards outlined at the time of booking (e.g., noticeable damage, stains, or significant defects), you may be eligible for a partial refund.
- Incorrect Item: If we send the wrong dress (for example, the incorrect size, style, or color), we will provide a full refund of the hire price.
2. No Refund for Shipping Delays
We do everything we can to ensure timely delivery of your rental items, but once your dress is dispatched, we rely on third-party carriers, such as Australia Post, for shipping. We are not responsible for any delays caused by the carrier.- Shipping Delays: Any delays in delivery, whether due to weather, carrier issues, or other external factors, are not grounds for a refund. We encourage customers to allow for extra time when booking for events to account for possible shipping delays.
- Lost Parcels: If a parcel is lost in transit, the responsibility lies with the carrier (Australia Post or other shipping providers), and no refund will be issued for lost parcels. However, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier to investigate the issue.
3. Partial Refund Details
- Refund Amount: The partial refund will be 30% of the hire price only. The partial refund will be issued to the same payment method used at the time of booking.
- Refund Processing: Once the refund is approved, it will be processed within 5–7 business days. Please note that the refunded amount will not include any shipping charges or other associated fees.
4. Return Condition
If you receive a dress that does not meet the standards and you are eligible for a partial refund, the item must still be returned in its original condition, as outlined in our Rental Terms & Conditions. Failure to return the dress as per the instructions may result in a refusal of the refund.5. No Refund for Change of Mind
